I rowed in the Bristol River Avon race and it was outstanding. Young Bristol won but we pulled up behind and took 2nd overall. Not a trophy for 2nd and there were only 9 boats but at least we were there. Lovely day for a race!

PS: The bum leg bit has to do with me bumping my leg — I’ve been to A&E and to the fracture clinic. The injury resulted from putting the boat in the water and I stepped off the slipway. No, I didn’t slip..I stepped.
